I MISS PLAYING WITH COLORS

Referring to the title, that is why I change my blog header into something that has a bit of color.



Nowadays is the moment when I am pushing and convincing myself that I can do this thing that pushes me a lot for the past 2 years, academic pressure. Keep reminding myself that Dad is paying so much for each 6 months payment and I am here, doing nothing except reaching a goal which is a high GPA or my parents will kill me because (as I wrote before) they pay so much. I'm not this kid from super wealthy parents that can give me everything that I want. I'm not this girl who could ask for this and that to them and get it easily. I know how hard it is how my Dad is doing for a living and giving a life for his wife and 3 kids.

More, I'm not the only child; I have to share with my sister & brother.
More, I have a family driver and two maids that my dad should pay too.
More, I'm living with BIG FAMILY surroundings, again, we're not that wealthy, and dads got to share too.
More, we're blessed.

Blessed for still having a good life to be lived in.
Blessed for still having a fun chat to do.
Blessed for still having something to do.
Blessed for still having a moment to share.
Blessed for still having each other.
Blessed for everything.

Thank you Allah for being good for this almost 20 years of my life.

FEBRUARY!

So it is now! I've finish my exams (though I haven't finish my payment business) so it's pretty much a time for having a relax and thinking no thing... that's what I call holiday! Yes, I'm free for a month! Just hoping my dad will give me some extra ca$$$h on this holiday, I feel like in the mood for saving nowadays, thinking to make a trip somewhere with my own money... lets hope it'll be happen. Amin!

Anyway, I just got my new custom made legging from the tailor, and check this out... snizzz

I know it's late but don't blame me, my boyf just sent the pictures... this is the NYE party photos! As Gadis posted too on her blog, we did nothing. It was just a small family party with a lot of chat, laughter, hugs, and ofcourse fun! I gotta say that it was the most comfort NYE ever.

FRIDAY.

So last night was great then. I went to campus to finish my last exam and directly went to my boyf's gramps house since he's back in my town now :) Met his family and I had a fun chat!


Then I went home... when I stepped my feet in the house my dad suddenly told me to change clothes and going to Depok to watch him performing on the Friday Jazz Night annual event there... so there I go! It was fun to saw a lotta performances!

IS THIS HOW IT FEELS WHEN YOU'RE ABOUT TO BE 20?

This is the moment when I'm stressed out. The keep-going-down GPAs, dealing with papers, just wanted to be alone, got too much toughts in the head but you can't spill it out, yet I want to have fun. I'm craving for a month holiday, come on February, I'm waiting.

I kinda feel some pressure about this thing that I'm about to be 20 this June. Dang it.

HAPPY 101.

I gotta say thanks to Echa who gave me this award. I finally have something to post! My brain was stuck and I had my time when I got no idea what to share and what to write. Reality bites!

Since it says that I gotta write 10 things that makes me happy, so here it is:

1. Music.
I don't know what to say about this. I believe everyone has their interest on this thing even it's on different genres and interests. But believe me, I listen to everything... I mean everything is really everything! If you see my iTunes music list, you'll be like 'WOW!' cause I'm collecting uncountable songs. Besides listening to it, I'm playing music too! I play piano & drums.

2. Concerts.
This is not a secret anymore. My dad is a professional drummer, he does it for a living and that's why I've been living with music surroundings since I was born. I got so many advantages from it like my dad put my name on the VIP list so I can join him travelling around Indonesia for his show (I got one across Europe for free -because my dad is on the 'it' list with joined the summer camp music tour with my music school when I was 15, of course I'll be back someday somehow, amen!). I thought my very first concert was Modjo. I saw this band when I was on the 5th grade... again, for free, because my dad involves on it. But my dad said my very first concert was Al Jarreau. I was 4 or 5 years old, dad brought me to this big hall on my town to see this man's show. Well, I don't remember that at all until I saw Al Jarreau CONSCIOUSLY when I was on Netherlands on North Sea Jazz festival when I was 15 and I'm like... "Oh, I saw this guy before!" ha! I've seen hundreds of music shows and concerts so far. Whether it's free or I pay it by my self, I've always love the euphoria that I get when I'm in front of the stage, watching many kind of performances, and it makes me happy!

3. Shopping!
Should I write about this? Haha. Well, I'm a normal girl. I love splurging my money until I got nothing left just to but a clothes, bags, and shoes. Thissssss issssss lifeeeeeeee.

4. Hanging around with my friends.
I love my friends! Everyone! Ever since I was in elementary school, I've been surrounded by a very very very nice friends. Everyone is beyooooond goodness

5. Family!
I have a SUPER BIG Arabian family. I have 47 cousins and I just heard the news that my aunt is pregnant again and I was like... Oh my god, so it will be 48?! Hahaha

6. Digital Imaging.
I got interest on this thing since I was on Junior High School. I've always updating my Adobe Photoshop. I love working with photos!

7. Fashion.
You'll get it when you see my closet or more easy, this blog.

8. Blogging.
I love shariiiiiiiiiiing! It's just it.

9. Nail Coat.
Especially the black one. It's just so me.

10. Last, but not least. My boyfriend.
I love you.

I REALLY NEED TO FIX MY SLEEPS

So here I am on 5 in the morning. Fed up with the books, ended up blogging, ha! It's been days since I'm having the lack of sleep. I eat miserably and it really affect to my mood; I became so quiet lately. I'd pick to shut my mouth rather than saying what's inside. I know it's bad but somehow I feel there's nothing to share to anyone, I can keep it for myself. That's why I feel like I'm a hallucinator these days... my new occupation. It's not that pathetic, atleast I made up some sketches (will post about it later on)

Insomniac is the new thing, baby!What so ever, I believe the perfection is on the unperfection it self. I know how it feels when it's on the ups and the downs. As long as I hold on to my own perspective I know I'll reach my goals. Wew, now I know how it feels to 'think'...

FOURPLAY IS NOW RECORDING FOR A NEW ALBUM

Well ok, I am a music freak. And I love jazz. In this case, my dad is a profesional jazz drummer, so I am fed up with this thing since I was baby, and I feel the pleasure haha I am mean for having the advantages from my dad's job... Like, I can easily get a free tickets for some music festivals! Ha! Lucky me.

So I was surfing to my favorite drummer’s site ever, Harvey Mason. And I’m so happy to found this photo. Fourplay is recording again for new album! After all the songs that I called ‘beyond words songs’ stuff, I can’t wait.

And I can’t wait for this year Java Jazz Festival! Harvey Mason will make a Michael Jackson tribute. Again, it will be beyond words.

I SAW RAINBOW!

But I didn't have a chance to see the Golden Globes live! Blame my exams. But thanks there's a thing called re-run. Tho I already know who won the awards so thennnn lets pretend that I am surprised! Haha fake!

I gotta stay tune to the TV so I wont miss the Golden Globe again! And anyway, Glee will be aired on Star World every Wednesday here right after American Idol. Woohoo! Wednesday night will be fun!

THE GOOD-BYE

So here's the day, my cousins are back to Sydney since their holiday are over. It was a pretty good-month that we had in Jakarta, Surabaya, and everywhere! I'm so happy, seriously. Cause it's like we're rarely meeting up each other because the other country reason, but since the family-bond is so tight, we are one :)
